Hi, I require some help please, I have a 2012 wr125x and have had it for 3 years, it ran absolutely great until recently, it started with lack of power at top speed it would only do 59mph as apose to 78mph that it would reach.then it would sound funny on tick over and you have to feather the throttle for it to rev, Was told it could be fuel pressure so changed the fuel pump, checked the injector and that’s good, changed the fuel and put in a new spark plug, basically tried everything, now it has a error code, anybody have any thoughts also where would the plug be located to attach a obd scanner. Thanks

I might be wrong but I didn't thnk they had an OBD port. Error code would be the thing to follow - what does the code say?

Hiya mate, it all started with lack of power 58mph and no more, checked fuel pump, checked injector, checked throttle body, it was struggling to start and wouldn’t Rev, then came up with codes 41&42 and engine management light came on and stayed on, got it running on Saturday and rode it around the yard. Engine light now not on and no codes coming up but still not revving right, it’s only done 7k and has been well looked after. It’s bloody annoying. Thanks

Is that with the gen1-style speedo and the engine light flashing long and short pulses to give you the error code, or is it showing it some other way?

I only have error codes for the gen1 bikes (e.g. Error Code List. ) so am hoping it uses that.
