He's dreaming if he thinks that will sell for that price, mine's the same year and I got it for a fiver more, but with 22,000 less on the clock. My local dealer has this for sale.

Seems a bit steep I thought but, it does say it has had an overhaul (whatever they mean by that). Have seen the bike myseld and iy does look in good condition, on the outside at least.
If that thing sells for that price, I'm advertising my bike over there for 5k!Yeah....I thought it was a bit much too.
I'll be keeping an eye on it and let you know if it sells. The thing is, over here there isn't a lot of choice, so you never know :hmm:
Weird thing is, it's the shop were I buy most of my stuff from and they're decent guys, as in never rip you off and always do a good deal on stuff, they're very helpful too. I bought both my bikes from them, the first was a 9 month old 2010 r125 with only 660 miles on the clock for £3,000 and a lot of freebies including the cbt thrown in and the bike was mint. Got my wgp50 for £4,100 which was a fair price. If that thing sells for that price, I'm advertising my bike over there for 5k!
Perhaps they need a little call to show them the errors of their waysWeird thing is, it's the shop were I buy most of my stuff from and they're decent guys, as in never rip you off and always do a good deal on stuff, they're very helpful too. I had to do a double take on the milage when I saw that for 2 grand though. I'll be interested how much they'll offer me for mine when I sell it.
Regardless, would you buy it knowing you can get bikes with less miles for around the same price?Tbf, it does say it has had an overhaul, so I guess it depends on what that actually means they have done. It could have had an engine rebuild along with a lot of other major work and parts replaced. Think I'll ask next time I'm in there.
The bike was sold today. If that thing sells for that price, I'm advertising my bike over there for 5k!
Don't know if the dealer knocked anything off it tbh but, it wouldn't have been much if anything.with 24k on the clock no way, knock a few hundred off at least
also im on 12,200, no real problems that havent been created by me crashing
You're bloody joking...The bike was sold today.![]()
Nope.You're bloody joking...
Very interesting, all the best to the new owner then I suppose!Nope.
I thought someone was interested, as when I was at the shop this morning, it was being wheeled outside and parked up. This is what they do if someone's coming in for a test ride.
Then late this afternoon I was back at the shop for a bike lesson and it had a sold written on it.
I did give it a good look over when I saw it earlier and it does look in pretty good condition but, there are a few minor marks on it.
I'll be interested to see what I get for mine when the time comes to sell.
Dealers always seem to price the yellow colours higher for some reason..:headscratch: its not a limited edition as far as im aware but im not complaining... just means i can sell mine for more then someone who has a blue 08He's dreaming if he thinks that will sell for that price, mine's the same year and I got it for a fiver more, but with 22,000 less on the clock.
