i usaly go round all fairoaks irport...if u know where trhat is? its near kinda near u Fisher?Well, there are two roads near me that I love to ride regularly:
1. The Basingstoke > Alton road.
I like this one, because it is only 5 minutes from where I live! It has some really great corners!
Only down side, is the lack of opportunities to (safely) overtake. It also gets fairly busy if you go at the wrong time.
It is a high risk road, and sadly every year there is normally at least one (biker) fatality :hmm:
2. (please see link for the route) http://g.co/maps/ee4ps (Winchester > Petersfield > Winchester)
I will ride this often during my (extremely long) college lunch break.
It takes me through some lovely winding country roads, which offer a good balance between high speed, and corners.
Some amazing views, some quiet picturesque villages, and not to mention Loomies roadside cafe!!!
ohh is it lol!! i usaly go there to my grandads in farnbrough! better then the poxy motorway lol!!Ah, that's beyond Farnborough...
About 30 - 45 minutes ride from me.
Never been there![]()
ohh kool whats the book called sounds good!I need to get out one day and go find some roads... my boss for xmas gave me a book with all the best motorcycle rides throughout the uk but i'm not that great at reading the kind of maps they have which sort of just shows towns or places you go through not like a to z... rides are in categories from simple ones to ones they consider danger ones, these will be the best ones i think as will be more twisty![]()
ohh kool cheers ill have alook at that!
I think my tom tom has something on my laptop to make up routes i might have to have a look and see if i can do some of the routes from my bookBeat me to the link
That website is what I use...
I plan a whole day simply by conecting the 'dots' hehe
When I come up north for the peaks, I will probably plan my route up using that.
I save those routes on to google maps, and that allows me to load the waypoints on my android sat nav.
