I have only ever had BT
Been with them ever since we moved to the country in the 90's some time!

Im curently with talk talk they are the WORST! Virgin the best! Fibre optic cables the lot! Really quick speeds however you need to have a virgin box around your area they can connect you to. Unfortunately where I live we cant connect to virgin!!! Also another downfall is Virgin could be quite dear!

The vast majority of internet providers WILL be using BT lines anyway!
So, you may as well go with them!

Virgin media in my area but there price is nutz but bt work out better I'm next door the exchange I was told On my line I should be getting near 50mb dl and 15-20mb upload the big green box is right out side my house

thats what i am doing i think they rolling out 100mb now

Yesterday bt come in and install bt infinity the guys was shock at what speed I'm getting they said you are the 1st house we install in there area that getting such a high speed and it my get faster
I'm happy with 65mb download and 8.4 upload

That is all.

Although, saying that, my college gets upwards of 100mb.
But it is shared between thousands of computers!
Still pretty quick though, as they have pretty damn high bandwidth.

yea the bt exchange is next door me and the green box is out my house so that helps
