You already can.
If you are IN the sub-board, and click 'mark all as read' you can mark them.

I use it to mark the MCN posts as read

Once the race season starts up again we could maybe have a little section for checking up on race results... i follow the BSB, WSB and the Motogp all season and be nice to have one place to look at results as superbike sites really complicated to check previous results. Just an idea.

Hmm, I don't think it is that much effort. Nowhere NEAR as much as it would be to implement that feature, considering the fact that statuses are only a very small feature of the site.

I use a server based stats program, AND I also use Google webmaster yes.
And it doesn't use any CMS system as such; as a forum it is powered by XenForo.

The way I read it, you said you use webmaster tools. Google Analytics is something different!
