BUT, I would do it better
On our bikes, you would then wrap the other side, and you wouldn't be able to see ANY of it.
Just an idea, could easily and cheaply do any colour wheels then, and be able to revert to stock colour at any time easily.

I'm not so sure about durability though. I mean, we put locks through ours, they get loads of crap on them, brake dust, exposed fully to the elements
