The display reads 0 and will not change when riding.
Background on bike: this bike is a 2013 model that has 2018 parts on it as well (my mates doing). Got it for cheap so went for it.

It has the 2018 display and what I have only now discovered is the 2018 abs sensor at the front but none at the back as it has 2 different wheels (the front is the 2018 and rear is 2013) and that is probably the cause of it being stuck at 0.
Where do I go from now? Can I just change out the sprocket on the wheel and add the sensor on?
Appreciate any help or knowledge

wait so this is a 2013 bike with 2018 instruments and (presumably some) wiring? that's interesting.Does the display work otherwise e.g. rpm, fuel, miles etc?

It might be an idea to take some pics of the various bits, especially the non-2013 bits so we can see what's gone on...

so: Front wheel showing brake disk, caliper, forks etc, rear wheeel showing disk, caliper etc. maybe some pics of the dash etc.
