I had SO much antifreeze it was overflowing out the top, and it desperately needed diluting.

SO. I siphoned it out. It tastes good!

ALthough now I am paranoid, I am convincing myself I am dizzy, and have a headache, and feel ill and all this nonsense ><

Neither tastes good, petrol repeats and gives you a very painful throat.

Yes you might feel dizzy, there was a batch of fake wine came from austria a few years ago and that was anti-freeze mixed in. Ethylene Glycol is a form of alcohol hence it ends in ol as it has the alcohol OH group at the end of the molecule.

You don't need to suck to start a syphon, push all the hose into the vessel so it is full of the fluid, thumb over the end, draw the hose out, then remove thumb, bingo one primed syphon.
