We’re sorry to report that MCN’s Senior Web Producer, Tom Cambio, 24, was tragically killed on the way home from work on Wednesday.
Tom was riding his Suzuki Bandit 650 and was in collision with four vehicles on the A605 near Barnwell in Northamptonshire. Police are appealing to witnesses to the accident.
We had only had the pleasure of working with Tom since April 2011 and he was already carving himself a great career in online motorcycle journalism.
He was a brilliant member of the MCN team, a really great bloke and will be missed by all of us. From all at MCN we send our deepest condolences to his parents Tony and Elizabeth and girlfriend Claire.
MCN Editor Marc Potter said: “Rarely does someone come into the MCN team and make such a difference, I had the pleasure of sitting next to him for most of last year and he genuinely brought a smile to my face every day.
"We are all devastated by his loss which is a tragic reminder that life is so short and no matter how good a rider you are it can all happen so quickly.”
