'Holmfirth' arn't you straying into Yorkshire territory there? Still if you don't have anywhere decent in Manchester to meet I suppose we could allow you in on a visitor permit. I mean how are you going to ride nice roads unless you cross the border.

See now I prefer Manchester chip shops simply because they serve better pies than the pucker pie crap over here although not had a Manchester chippy for over 14 yrs lol used to be a really nice one near the goblin factory in Stretford where I was brought up. Went there every Friday growing up and haven't found a better chippy in the country yet their is one close by to me that isn't too bad for kebabs but still can't get a decent pie...... maybe I should open a chippy lol

Their is only one chippy I liked in Manchester that was the one just off hyde road in gorton, now I wouldn't go near the place just went down hill.. Probably just me that finds the worse ones.. An the one round the corner from me mams that must think they are hilton hotel with there prices, but half the bloody good chippy's in manchester have either shut down or gone under new management.. Shame can't beat a bloody good fish n chips n gravy or a chips n hollands meat n tatty pie :D

Best fish and chips you'll ever find is Wrights in Ware.
Aside from that the portion I got recently at Thorpe Park wasn't half bad, but for £7 f*cking 65 I wouldn't of expected anything else!
