Sorry for those of you who may of been very excited there, but I don't have anything to show you :p
BUT, I someone found the forum by searching "R125 Car Equivalent".

Which is a VERY good question...

Can anyone come up with a reasonable answer? What IS the R125 car equivalent ?

But the R125 looks great!
Costs a fortune compared to the others...
and is amazing fun to drive...

It's not that easy to compare to cars really...

Benji. The CG125 is more reliable. The YBR125 is probably better to learn on...

I would be tempted to say Classic Mini perhaps?
They are not TOO fast, but still very nimble and great fun to drive.
They are also good to learn on I think... The LUCKY people our my age have them.
BUT they are old... And not hugely reliable...

hmm i see what you mean fisher, i was looking at it from a entry level frame of mind hence the cars, its much tougher now :p well in ireland at least they are very rare ive only seen 3 in 4 years and i own one of those! and i think they are an unspoken classic so i would put forward a triumph spitfire on that basis, however i agree with the mini, another iconic car with bundles of character, you dont make the biggest entry in those cars but you have the biggest smile, just like on the R. :)

How about a VW golf, brand new, they are very expensive, yet are brilliant to drive! I think it's about as close as it gets!

Might be on to something there!
Or the new Polo? LOOKS like the golf, but slower ;)

Is there a small engined golf?

1.4-1.6 is the smallest they used to offer. Dunno about now, the polo has moved up and now no longer the smallest VW. I'd still vote for the golf tho

I'd put the XJ6 alongside a Golf. Because don't forget if you are thinking like this you need to find places for R6's R1's ZX6R's and Desmodecci's

R1 would compare more with the likes of an Aston, or Maserati, or Koensieeegiiisiisaiixxxxxx

1L corsa is more like a YBR...
I dont know what your smoking LOL how did you come to that conclusion YBR is more like a mirca as discussed above, 1.0 Corsa are good on petrol and maintaince just like our 125cc, they have similar speeds pretty forgiving aswell (corsa's/vauxhall's in general can withstand a beating).

I would rather have a Micra than a Corsa, but that's a whole different argument. The YBR is more suzuki alto territory, solid little things but you wouldn't crawl over broken glass to have a go on them.
