Seen a couple people mention getting a 2 stroke 125...
Just thought I would remind you, that the RS125 FULL POWER is NOT allowed on a restricted license.

You are allowed 33bhp WITH a power to weight ratio of no more than 0.16kw/kg

A 33bhp full power RS or Mito etc. is 25kw and only weight 126 kg depending on the bike.
This makes them 0.2kw/kg and therefore illegal on a restricted license.

It's an annoying little sub-rule that most people tend not to realise...
Isn't just 33bhp you need to contend with. It's PTW ratio as well!

That's interesting I've never seen that! Nice one, what is your new bike putting out?

You're assuming all full power RS125's put out 33bhp. They don't, especially the newer ones which are less due to emissions tuning. Have a read over on BCF at posts from a member called Kickstart, what he doesn't know about RS125's isn't worth knowing.

I know, I am aware of that. But, the older ones in a state of good tune DO put out 33bhp, or near enough to.
Still worth pointing out...
