Hi all, 👋 I'm Andy and I live in Scotland.
Just past my cbt and got my hands on a 2010 yzf r125 today and it's nice.
Sides off fairings are badly painted so looking for ideas on possible fixes or just buy new ones ?? 🤔
Cheers in advance 👍

if prepared properly with some wet+dry the panels will take paint quite nicely, both from cans or 2k from a gun, though the finish from can's will go dull and weather quite quickly vs 2k.

You can use something like jbweld or body filler to fill scuffs and deep scratches. The grey splodge on this panel is a deep scuff filled with jbweld and then flat-sanded by hand, then with 2k paint over it.

Alternatively you could wrap some/all of the panels - Axion did that on his and it looked wicked as long as you didn't look toooo closely (metallic purple)..

I guess it depends on how handy (and patient) you're feeling and how much spare time/money you have.

you can get a full fairing kit for about £250 but it will prob want painting as well, and availability can be an issue.

hope that helps :)
