hi man, is that Hypermotard yours? It's the bike alongside the Dorsoduro I was looking at getting purely because of control and improved handling over my YZF R125. I crashed last year in November and lost a lot of confidence in my bike so the Hypermotard stood out as a good replacement. Please let me know your experience with it 
Hi there, yes the hyper is mine, thanks for asking. I actually came off it in febuary, I was the same losing all my confidence. Since then however I've done around 1500 miles on it and I'm finally now wearing the chicken strips down right to the edge. I feel my confidence is now back up to full, I even took a pillion today for the first time. I think the hyper is a fantastic bike, especially for building confidence. My friend has a dorsosuro and although it is a little quicker I'd never change mine for one. In my opinion they don't look, feel or just generally impress like the hyper does. I wouldn't reccomend jumping from an R125 onto a full power hyper though, I had a restricted XT660Z after my R125 which was a good stepping stone. This hyper is somthing else entirely though, it just pulls and pulls. I go riding often with a friend that has a K8 GSXR 1000 and although he gets me on the straights he can't keep up in the corners, and he certainly dosent have as much fun as I do. As a word of caution though, ducatis are quite expensive to maintain, a full service inc belts and valve clearing as well as everything else can cost upto £600. Though that only needs doing every 8k or so. On the whole I'd definatly reccomend one, I always wanted one which is why I did get one, if your the same then go for it. If not then maybe look at somthing similar with a smaller engine. Hope this helps, Miles.
