My friend has just put his money down for the Mt125 and I was wondering if there will be a MT section added for them on the site being as there basically the same bike? And He does love His Forums!
Or would they just be classed as Other?

I would be very annoyed if the forum does take on the MT-125 after all the issues had previously regarding opening doors to other bikes (Which were declined).

I would be annoyed on the principle of "one rule for one and one for another"

why be so close minded kaysee i dont see the issue as its 1. a yamaha and 2. a 125
Plus it's basically the same bike as the R125 but naked.
Almost the same frame
Same engine
A lot else in common...

The WR & YBR is
1) Yamaha
2) 125

I don't care the future of this forum IMO, but there has been many discussions for catering other bikes and every time it has been turned down (not saying turning it down was a bad thing) Thats why I went ahead and made a universal forum for all bikers.

I can understand the Wr & Ybr being overlooked.
But I don't no if it was the sales talk.. But saying its basically an R125 sharing everything except the body panel's
Just seemed to make sense it would be included.
Its more like a Modified R125 than another Model of bike

I totally agree that the MT-125 is the same.

However I was just stating what was said in previous debates about opening doors to other bikes "This is an R125 Forum, Nothing Else".

Yeah, I think this is an exception though...

It would be like an ER6f forum not including the ER6n!

oh really? cool and well done :) That's good to know that it fits too.

And no issues fitting the intake manifold or you use the one from the MT? Afaik they have the bolts and stuff orientated slightly differently.

Doesn't the gear shifter work the other way around on gen2 (shifter goes direct on the shift-rod ratehr than via levers etc) or is that a myth?
