Just a point of note, I am FAIRLY sure that integrated rear lights and indicators would present an instant fail for an MOT. You have been warned.

Did I miss a thread before this comment or is this just a general comment?

I would add to subject that these things are very hard to tell which way people are turning. New R1 has indicators built into tail light and really bad to follow.

Just a general note.... I have seen it mentioned before.
It isn't very clear no!

They may look sleek, but not very practical.

I don't like them as someone will rear end you and use the excuse that they didn't know which way you was turning

Something tells me Cam saw something on Roadcraft this morning!

IN all seriousness though, this is an MOT Failure. This morning my local garage got a piece of information through in their MOT guide that says they are now an MOT Fail.

It's not a new fail, the new inspection manual has just been issued.

The piece they fall foul from is, under the stop lamp (section 1.3, MoI 2):
Check that the illumination of the lamp is not affected by the operation of any other lamp or the horn.

The annoying thing is the lamp is CE stamped so it approved for fitment, but is not an mot pass.
