Am I dreaming to hope to get a 600 insured Fully Comp for less than £1000 ?
I'm 18, 1 years NCD on my 50cc, got Full UK Driving License, will have Full UK Motorcycle too.

Been looking at some Insurance Group 9/10/11 Used bikes;
Suzuki GSX650F -- Quoted £1600
Suzuki SV 650 -- Quoted £1750
Yamaha XJ6 Diversion F -- Quoted £3600 (LOL)
Kawasaki Versys -- Quoted £1700
Suzuki DL 650 V Strom -- Quoted £3300 (another LOL)
^ All these on gocompare/comparethemarket etc

Anybody else here aged 17/18/19, and moved onto a bigger bike, what was the insurance costs?

Well, those quotes are rubbish.

BUT, to be fair, those bikes are all fairly sporty.
You need a naked roadster / commuter.

Try the XJ6 ?
That is what I hope to get, and at 18, with 1 year no claims, I can get it for roughly 900 according to the price comparrison sites.
Fully comp, and kept in a garage in a reasonable area. See if that gives you a half decent price?

OOOOH. Try MCN compare, even if it doesn't give you the cheapest, you sometimes gets some awesome freebies with them :p

And whoever bikerboy is with, gave him a VIP pass to the BSB or something...

Also, again cannot stress how important it is to phone around.

Comparison site = £1600
Through the companies own on-line quote system = £2100
exact SAME company, and same details, on the phone = £700
