Just wondering if anyone has placed orders with them and what the customer service is like?

I have a 182 kit and cam on order with them. Should I expect a fast service because to the end of business today my order status hasn't changed from 'payment received' (made payment last Friday) I would have expected it to change to 'processing' or something similar.

Never used them but please keep us up to date as I was planning to do the same order with them.

No phone number on the website! I've sent them an e-mail a few hours ago, hope to hear something tomorrow.

Yes, can't wait to do it! Will probably renew the valves and valve guides too as the clock is almost at 17k mileage.
Would personally leave them alone, replacing valve guides is something that is very rarely required. You might want to decoke the valves and reseat, but be surprised if it needs it.

Have ordered from them before, it was all here in about 4 days.

If I hadn't have ordered the cam I would have left the head untouched. But for the sake of less than £20 for a set of guides and I can get them pushed in by engineers cheap may as well after the cost of everything else. They will at least be decoked and lapped in.

Thanks for the info on the Malossi site. Put my mind at ease. Just want to try and get them before weekend. Got a weeks holiday next week. Would have been perfect in case anything went tits up

had an update on my order today, status has changed from 'payment received' to 'shipped'. They use a 24hr courier service so I am hoping for tomorrow or Monday at the latest for it to arrive. Didn't get any response to my email and haven't received an email with regards to tracking number for said package. So make of that what you will.

Yeah I have. This site is a right goldmine of information. Got the malossi guide as well printed out. Pretty confident about it all going smoothly, served a 3 yr apprenticeship light vehicle mechanics 10 years ago at a VW/Audi/BMW specialists. Stripped a fair few engines right down to an empty head and block and rebuilt them. Can't wait to get my hands dirty again :)

The kit and cam turned up today! To sum up my experience;

1, Took 7 days from order to delivery, but to be fair I placed the order very late on Friday and it probably didn't get processed until Monday (bit more in line with Benji's 4 day order)
2, Didn't get a reply to e-mail I sent early in the week. No obvious phone number anywhere to contact them.
3, Didn't get a consignment number so wasn't able to track the parcel. They use DPD as the courier (at least for UK) and I have had deliveries from them before. Damn good courier service from my experience. When they have delivered other packages I have had SMS messages from them; one to say when they are in receipt of the package and another on the day to give a 1hr time gap for delivery. Malossi store takes your phone number with your order so I guess some screw up there. I think I might have been over worried, I'm like that when it comes to poor communication and money!

But it got here and in perfect condition, that's the main thing.
