My first "proper" come off.. Could have been worse I spose

Was on a corner \/

Not sure if it's just the hugger thats moved, or if the wheel/forks are damaged :( (It's at my local garage now getting checked over)

Luckily I wasn't hurt, and my helmet didn't take damage, my waterproof over-trousers are shredded though, another £16 on the bill.
My biggest mistake was calling the insurers to tell them, as I wasn't thinking straight at the time, but cancelled the claim now and will just pay for costs when I get paid from work

Aww man! Unlucky :( Was you going too fast? Atleast your still good and well, bike can be replaced!.... Cough Cough... R125!

Why would you call insurance btw if YOU slide off your bike?

Nah, probably going 15-20mph which is the usual for that corner..
Tbf I have no idea why I rang them, I'll put it down to the shock :p
Just heard back from the garage and they've straightened the steering, and ordered parts (apart from fairing/exhaust cover) for a total of £155 :|

The majority of that cost will be the plastics, which you COULD repair yourself?

But if that is all inclusive for £155, thats isn't bad at all!
Just the nose cone alone for the R125 is £170 (new) I believe...
