Hi all, Owner of a new White Yamaha YZF R125, always wanted a bike, was car sharing with my dad as he had a Mercedes 500SL and Mercedes S Class, but due to fuel prices he sold the 500SL so I decided to get a bike and borrow the wifes Audi when i need a car.

yeah nice cars, problem was SL was getting 9 miles to the gallon around town. £130 fuel got us 170 miles.
That's really bad considering on our bike that much petrol would see well over a thousand miles. SL was probably a little more powerful though :D

0-60 in about 7.5 seconds?
Unless it's the older model, in which case it is about 9 seconds...

Yeah, shame my dad had to let the SL go, he still got the S class to line the pockets of the petroleum companies.

Probably would never have got a bike if he still had the SL, so he done me a favour and got me into bikes as I always wanted one, but never got round to doing CBT.

And unfortunately, once you get in to it...
There is no getting out ^^
