Headlights only work when pressing the pass button??

I'm facing a weird problem with my Yamaha YZF R125 headlights, and I could really use your expertise here. So, here's the deal: ever since I attempted the dual headlight mod, my headlights only work when I press the pass button. It's quite a hassle and kind of sketchy, to be honest.
Ive reverted the mod back to normal but the headlights still only work when the pass button is pressed.
Any Ideas??
