So, my R125 is now sold.
And here is my new bike:

(It's dark outside, I will get a better picture when I can)

Kawasaki ZXR400 L4 - '94 plate.
24,000 miles.
5 owners, and a nearly full service history!

Pretty clean, although I need a new ignition barrel (the part has been supplied, I just need to go collect it).
And the rear seat lock is a bit stuck, and will need replacing.

The paint and body is pretty good considering the age.

Starts and runs relatively well, but could do with some TLC in the way of a good thorough service, and a bit of a clean. Possibly the clutch needs adusting, and maybe some minor tweaking with the carbs, idle screw, etc.

Sounds sweet, and it's rapid.

Colour scheme, is.... classic :p

I was indeed very sad to see my R125 go though =/
But I must admit, I don't even remember it whenever I am riding ><

Only time I miss it whilst ON this bike, is when I start it up (can sometimes take a few cranks to do compared to the instant start of the R125).
And when I change gears, which is sometimes a bit clunky...

3PFT Insurance is £750.
18, 0 no noclaims, only had my license a week, and unlimited cosmetic mods and any end can.
10k miles a year, WITH pillions, including commuting. Gargaged, and with an Oxford Disk Lock.

With Aviva via Just Motorcycle Insurance.

I would HIGHLY reccomend Just Motorcycle insurance from my experience so far, they feel like a nice small company with friendly staff. When you speak to get a quote, they give you their name so that you can go back to the same person who quoted it to you. They are also open 7 days a week for quotes etc. which is nice!
