Here I will list as many different types of mods I can think of, that you could consider doing to your bike.
Underlining means that there is more information available, so click on it!

Cosmetic
  • Stickers - Cheap and easy. £free - £silly money (and everything in between).
  • Carbon Wrapping. - Also easy. £5 - £150 (depending on how much you use).
  • Remove Pillion Pegs - If you are on L plates, you may as well! £Free!
  • Tail Tidy - Should be the FIRST thing you do! £30 - 75
  • After market Exhaust - Strictly, a performance mod, but sounds good. £100 - £600
  • Double Bubble Screen - Looks good, also functional. £30 - £80
  • Seat Cowl - Covers the pillion seat. Paint matched. £40 - £100
  • New Indicators - Nice level of uniqueness. £5 - £50
  • New Mirrors - Look good, but often limit your view even more. £30 - £100
  • R6 Lever Conversion - Looks amazing. Costly. £50 - £150 (depending on choice of lever)
  • R6 Switch conversion - Looks okay, and gives you hazard switches etc. £depends
  • HEL Braided brake lines - Better braking, look cool. £55
  • Rear Sets - Functional, as some allow you to adjust the positioning. anything up to and over £165 (e.g. Valter moto)
  • Dual Headlight - Practical, Looks good, and can be done without cost. £free
  • Air Horn - Sounds better! £15+
  • LEDs - Chavtastically brilliant. £20+
  • Coloured Side Lights - Very cheap, and look nicer. £1 +
  • HID Conversion - Much brighter headlights. Nicer colour too. £29+
  • Sidelight to indicator mod conversion - Looks good (£free - £10)
  • Tyre Valve LEDs - Chavvy fun, that makes you more visible on the road. £2.50
  • Tinted headlight covers - Protect our headlights, and look amazing! £30
Performance
  • Exhaust - Gives a tiny increase in power, but is nesercary for big bores / power commander. £100 - £600
  • Power Commander - Allows re-mapping of the fuel curve etc. £250
  • 150cc Bore kit - Noticeable increase, £150
  • 182cc Bore Kit - Malossi. Expensive. Requires PC+exhaust. £500
  • Double Bubble - Noticeable difference, not huge, mainly cosmetic. £50
  • Air bung mod - Debatable wether it works, very easy. £free
  • Galfer Wavy Disk Kit - Upgraded brakes. look cool. £200
  • HEL Braided brake lines - Better braking, look cool. £55
  • Different sprocket rations - Cheap, and makes a HUGE difference to the performance. £15
  • K&N Airfilter - Higher airflow, unlimited mileage warranty. £45
Safety
  • Crash Bungs - Help protect your bike in a slide. £60+
  • Rear Sliders - Same as crash bungs, but on your swingarm. £50+
  • Bar Sliders - Longer handle bar ends. £25
  • Air Horn - Louder than the stock horn. £15+
  • Alarm - Theft prevention. £varies.
  • Ram Air Mod - Supposedly increased airflow. £Free +

What are some good aftermarket mirrors? I understand there aren't many that fit the angle of the fairing on the R125?
As said by Gweglez, the GP Avitar mirrors are the best. Not easy to find, and they tend to be pricey however...

Better tyres. Rim tape. Tyre Pen. Remove pillion pegs. Get rid of L plates (ultimate mod). Tail tidy. After-market exhaust.

Not an R125... It's a ZXR400 in his pic :p
