hi guys,
i got a new exhaust tomorrow and im wondering if i can get away with using the old gasket?
if not where could i get one from?

yer you can do mate :) when i got my scorpion my old one never had a gasket so never bothered with getting a new one haha, probaby should do though :p if you want a new one the £4.95 i believe on ebay, you can get a copper or alloy one :)

Can't believe they are selling them for exhausts they are more for sump plugs on engines and gearboxes.

It's a fibrous construction, and fairly wide as the fit between the headers and the head isn't as precise as it is on some bikes.

Reuse your current one, then get one at your local yamaha dealers.

I spoke to the seller and he said it is a copper hollow crush which goes with the down pipe. I think I will go with your idea and use the old one for now then get a new one from the dealer
