So I have a small fracture in my exhaust and I'm hoping to get it welded soon but I might just buy a new exhaust. My question is if a 2011 Yamaha YZF R125 exhaust fit a 2008 model ? Thanks guys

Yes, they're exactly the same. Only exhaust that won't fit a 2008 model is 14- exhausts. Before that you're all good

So i can’t put any 2021 exhaust on 2008 ? Or the exhaust of a different brand can go on it ?

correct. you cannot.

gen1 exhausts for gen 1 bike. Aftermarket exhausts (from different makes - danmoto, black widow, scorpion etc) are fine but they will usually specify which gen/year-range of bike they will fit. 2008-2013 ought to be gen 1 bike so get a pipe to fit a gen 1.
