So this morning was Frosty as hell, and on 2 day old tyres I got a little eager with the throttle halfway down my road...
Back stepped out and I can proudly say for the second time in my life I consciously controlled a powerslide on two wheels. Not a particularly long one, but still a fair few seconds of slide time o_O
I can also say I STILL have no wish to ever do it again.

Any of you ever got some tail action so far?

closest i've come is locking the rear wheel whilst stopping at low speed, felt the rear tyre move left then right
ah, the old fishtail. loved that. first time i did it i must've gone about 30 feet in the rain before i realised what was going on. love it.

Yes! last month coming back from getting my hair cut. floors were a bit wet i was coming down a t junction and at the end i was turning right, whilst creeping forward i got a bit excited and obviously pulled a bit more throttle before i knew it my rear was sideways for about 5 seconds! My heart was pounding not scared but more excited! got off the throttle all straighten out pulled up at lights car pulled beside me and said 'wow! that was impressive' i started smiling under my helmet nodded and looked straight on! I WAS MEANT TO DO IT DEEP DEEP DOWN :)

HONEST!

mine was like a foot if that, just setting off from a roundabout before realizing that someone was coming around after a late indication. Just used the rear brake cos that's what i been taught to do at low speed

In the wet when coming near my house I sometimes drop gear as cornering and drop clutch smoothly and can get rear will to spin sideways little bit... When get it right feels wicked. This is all going pretty slow do not usually drop gear mid corner before anyone asks only when trying this.

i did this last year, car infront was going stupidly slow and was getting annoyed, he turned off down a junction, i throttled it like an idiot and i didnt go anywhere, back wheel on ice spinning and tail doing its thing, was a wierd feeling that i rather liked tbh haha

another time iv done it was in the dry but on cold michilen tyres, and i was in a bad mood, ex-gf argument, but was at a set of traffic lights, you can go near enough 90 degree left or straight on, i was going left, lights went green and i thrashed it in first start to lean to turn and change it up into second still thrashing it and the rear looses traction so im drifting my bike round a corner, panic and come off the throttle and it flicks itself back into line, god it fuuked me up at the time but after got such a buzz after :p

also done it perpesly once :p, loose dust in a lay-by sort of thing, lean forwards, revs on, throw clutch out, hold on and keep the tail in check :p felt good haha

last thing, iv also done it on a my back up moped iv still got, took it in my grass field and got it drifting haha, mopeds are so much more fun going sideways :hehe:
