Hiya, used to post on the old forums a little bit (probs around 4 months ago), just thought I'd register and post again :p

I'm Ben - 18, from Coventry, unfortunately I've never owned an r125, the story was that I was meant to be getting a brand new one with insurance chucked on the finance, but my dad thought it'd be better to get a used Honda Varadero 125 and he'll pay the insurance as a "gift", so I took it!

Hobbies/Interests are pretty much PC Gaming/PC-related/biking.

[Off-topic, is it possible for a Forum Admin to change my user/nickname to "Ben" please (if it isn't taken)?]

Hope to see some of you on a meet later on in the year if possible!
I'll stick an avatar up once I've taken a pic of my bike

Hey man, welcome!
Always good to see a new (or old) face on the site!

There is a meet in the Peaks in March as well as a trip to the Brecon Beacons (however I am not 100% sure that is still going on now..) ,
And an Isle of Wight trip in (July?).

I'll change your username now :)

How do you find the Varadero?
It's one of the few 125s I am yet to see or hear much about!

Perhaps you could write a little review on it?
Stick it in the other 125 chat.
Would love to hear how it is to ride, top speed, fuel economy, insurance, that sorta thing!

Also, sorry to seem Stalkerish Ben , but would I be correct in saying you own or have something to do with an Ice Cream van??? (or two of them for that matter...)
If so... that is so cool.

And I will set your avatar to Mr Whippy right away :D

Thanks, yeah, hopefully I'll have a 600 by May if all goes well with my new job, so I'd definitely be up for some meets before/after.

There's a lot I can say about the Varadero so I'll make a proper review thread when I've got time, but I've not got any other bike experience to compare it with (only a Yamaha Aerox 50cc scooter previously). Overall it's best qualitys is comfort and fuel economy (however I do feel I'm filling a lot more now than I was about 4 months ago :S)

EDIT: Just saw the other two posts, and yeah, I do, one's my fathers and one is "sort-of" mine. I'm guessing you saw the website? :p

That's pretty cool.

Yeah, I've not played it recently though as reformatted and haven't got round to installing it, I play Starcraft 2 & LoL more often though.
Ah fair enough.
If you play BF3, then let me know!
I play that regularly, as does runey I believe :)
