Hey this is my first post,
A couple of days ago 2 guys stole my bike from work. I found it after 10 minutes but they’d snapped the steering lock and pulled the wiring out of the bottom of the ignition barrel. After stripping the bike I plugged the new ignition in and it didn’t do anything (no lights on the dash or anything)
Does anyone have some advice for the yzf r125 abs 2017? Anything is appreciated as it’s my only mode of transport and it’s the first month since I completed paying for it!

have you checked the fuse box?

during wire pulling things may have got shorted so that would prob be a good place to start looking for broken things.

failing that you can follow the wires from the battery to the red ignition connector block under the fuel tank and use a multimeter to check those pins are getting power..which then means you can narrow it down to either a problem in the battery/loom or a problem with the stuff from the connector onwards.

hope that helps

Thank you for your response I checked my fuse box and my 7.5A mini fuse was completely blown which was my ignition fuse so I replaced that and it now powers up!
