Okay, so with the upcoming Peaks meet...
I thought, since I am going up north, I wonder how long it would take me to pop up to Edinburgh to visit my family.
Then as I scrolled the map along. And then scrolled some more... and some more, and more yet...
I zoomed out. And for the first time, realised just how far south nottinham etc. is!!!
And more importantly... how LITTLE there is up the north of England.
You get to about Leeds, and then there is nothing for 200 miles!
Apart from Sunderland tucked away in the corner half way up...
Okay, you have carlisle, and dumfries, and some villages.
What is going on? Does just nobody like the north or something???
And then Scotland.. that consists of basically Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Aberdeen.
Granted, that is mostly large hills / mountains.
ALSO, I only just noticed how large Ireland is.
Almost the size of the inhabited part of England.
Shows how small my perspective is
