I thought I would just upload a few pics of my bike on the ABBA Superbike stand.
I cannot reccommend this stand enough! It is really stable, and easy to use!

You will have to forgive me for the size of the chicken strips!
It has been either wet or cold ever since I got the new tyres fitted back in November!

How do you get it under the bike?
Ride over it?
Or does it come apart?

Fair enough!

I am personnally more of a faired sports bike man myself!

Due to my lack of income, I was looking at Ninja 250R's (which happen to be EXACTLY the same price on insurance... even down to the penny!)
Anyway, they just look so... erm... well... errr... different to the R125?

The way I see it is that it is a downgrade form the R125 in virtually every aspect apart from speed. I mean look at the clocks!

The ninja really IS a downgrade ><
And you don't even gain a huge ammount of speed...

I have a friend with the ninja... and up until 60 or 70 he doesn't really get away from me...
And you only really gain an extra 20mph top end, which IS great, but just... not hugely, I would rather have a full 180 conversion to be honest.

For the most part, I like faired bikes. But I don't have a HUGE preference to either...
Except that unfaired bikes are cheaper in almost EVERY way.

I will probably keep my R125, as I doubt I will get a huge ammount from selling it.
I may give it to a friend of mine... the one with the Skyjet. If I have a 600, He will HAVE to have something that can at least ATTEMPT to keep up with me.

It is far too painful riding with him at the speed his Skyjet goes :p

Otherwise I have another friend who would buy it off me, might give it to them for a cheap price on the proviso that I can borrow it for the occasional forum meet, or if I ever break down or something... I don't know really. Can't say I would mind having TWO sexy bikes in my garage ;)

The XJ6 is actually semi-notorious for having terrible city fuel consumption, along with probably most 600s. SO I may use the R125 as a city run around maybe,...
