Hi guys just joined , I have recently bought my 1st bike a gen 1 , yzf r125 , 2012 I can’t change my speedo from khm to mph I have tried all the self help guides but still no joy the Speedo is definitely a mph speedo as has the blue sticker on the back any help welcome kind regards

Hi buddy Ty for the reply yeah have tried both these methods but doesn’t work which is weird

hmm.. that's weird. I have only done the procedure once (testing for a friend buying a speedo from the uk to use in france) but swtiching it worked as outlined in the manual. So I guess if that's not working then... faulty button maybe?

does the button on the speedo switch between trip meters etc as it should? (1/2/total)

Yeah all the trip metres work and reset as normal buddy

If the way yamaha say to do it in the manual doesn't work, but the speedo button works, then I guess it must be an internal fault to the speedo unit. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

Still no joy in changing to mph does anyone know where to get a good speedo low mileage other than eBay please ?
