So me and bikerboy have noticed several differences between the 08 and the later models....
Please let me know if you know of anything else :)

-*The '08 bikes definately seem faster! I by far have the fastest stock bike from what I can tell at meets. Omar's is the only one that comes close, and that is an '08 also! Obviously we cannot confirm this. But I reckon they are.
- The rear calliper is attached in a slightly different manner on the '08.
- The speedo sensor is slightly different in shape. The 08 sensor is metal, wheras the later bikes sensor is plastic.
- Very early '08 models come with Sport Demon tyres as stock.

I'd be up for a race of some type. Interesting to see as most of you have after market. And fisher how can you be sure when your bike is not stock, air filter and scorpion is not a stock bike.

lol this makes me laugh, going to cause a few arguments. i got a 09 plate i hit 81 in strong winds with Scott on
A40 also there are too many factors to take into account determine who bike quicker.for example here are some variables that need to be same, weight of rider, height of rider, pressure in tires.

obviously if your a small chap you can hide behind shield and be more aerodynamic plus if you don't weigh much you will be like a rocket

We will have to find a spot to try this is out with our members we must have one from each year and have the same person ride each bike. Sometimes being to light is a disadvantage as not as much gripping rear tyre to Tarmac.

By stock... I meant no malossi :p

Either way...
I just know that on all the forum meets I have been on, I have won every race we ever had.
And I know I weight very little, and and quite small. And that is what I used to put it down to...

HOWEVER, Omar's bike also seems to be able to keep up me slightly better than the others, and he isn't exactly a short guy ^^

Anyway. We could argue about speed all we like.
But what I am more interested in, is actual factual stuff that we know is different :p

There are probably lots of little things that they have changed on our bikes!
