Essentially I was wondering someone could provide a list of everything that you could put onto our engine to make it 182. I know you get a better cam shaft and a new head thing (I'm not really a mechanical genius :p) as well as the bigger block, PC5 etc etc

Hmm, bits I know you can add to the 182 to make it better:
182 kit
PC5
Sports exhaust
High-flow ports (Cylinder Head)
Racing Camshaft
Uprated Injector
Better Air Filter

Cheers chip! Just what I was looking for! Anything else that would improve it? Apart from proper set up of course

Erm, been thinking all day and I can't really think of much.
Going to extremes would be a Velocity Stack for the air intake, a straight exhaust and a proper map!

Dyno time with a PC5 is definitely worth it, and the cam should give it the top end it so richly deserves.

Super-finishing of the crank and the gearbox, and then set it all up on ceramic bearings.

At the end of the day, depends how deep your pockets are, how much time have you got or how much engineering talent have you got? Then it's a case of balancing all three to get to where you want.

As always your advice is invaluable Benji, perhaps when I am rich enough, I may be lucky enough to hire your expertise :p
