Driving instructor was telling me today about his friend who was in a bike accident at 40mph. Both balls and left leg came off.

I know right, imagine living with no balls! Can't have kids either. All because one geezer pulled out on him out of nowhere.

As soon as I turn 24 in 738 days time, I'm going to get my A license and get a Ducati Monster 696 blacked out.

Low sided yesterday on wet roads, can't even walk properly. Sports demons are no better than stock Michelins imo. Poor grip in the rain.

I know this is probably a dickish thing to say but it wasn't the bikes fault it was your own. You should of been thinking a few more steps ahead and therefore, should of been in a correct line so you wouldn't of had to of done any swerving. Especially in the wet. And if a better line wasn't available then you should of slowed down... Especially around parked cars in case one suddenly pulled out/door opened.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, there was no advantage for getting sports demons, my old tires only had about 1k usage anyways.

Guess I am somewhat to blame, my mindset was, I'm on sports demons, they have excellent grip in the rain (as I was told) I have nothing to worry about. I put too much confidence into the tire's ability to grip in wet conditions.

Anyone know what screws you need to put the pillion pegs back on? My bike already came with them off so don't know.

Anyone know what type of screw it is?

Is 13mm the width or should that be the length of the screw?

Brookesy knows more than i do about this sort of thing, but i'd be very surprised if it was a 13mm thread. More likely to be 12 or 14mm i'd have thought. Measure the width of metal the bolt has to pass through on the peg and add 10mm or so to figure out the required length.

We should have the ultimate ride out. From London to France via the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle. Who would be up for it?

It'd be awesome if there was a button to retract the mirrors when filtering and pressed again to put them back into place.

I don't think any of them does "really" have adjustable angles, but you can bend all of them to get the preferred angle? ;)
